Our Vision
Our vision is a land at peace.
The Centre will bring together research organisations and institutes, civil society organisations, communities and government to encourage and promote research on preventing and countering violent extremism, with a focus on understanding diversity and promoting social cohesion. This will help inform public discussion on preventing and countering violent extremism and guide the work of policy agencies across government.
Our Mission
Our mission is to advance excellent research into countering and preventing terrorism and violent extremism in Aotearoa New Zealand.
We are striving for an Aotearoa where everyone is safe in their diverse identities, families and communities. Underlying all our work is a commitment to promoting social cohesion and inclusion, reflecting diversity in what we and others do, and enhancing community wellbeing.
